All four lines are universal fit and pre-sterilized. The choice is whether you need an aerosol barrier, how the tip loads, and whether you want to cut plastic waste.
A filter tip carries an aerosol barrier that protects the pipette and prevents cross-contamination, which matters for PCR and nucleic acid work. A non-filter tip is the economical choice for routine pipetting where a barrier is not required.
Standard racked tips load tip by tip in Standard Rack and EcoRack formats. The OneTouch filter tip is built for easy, consistent single-touch loading.
The reload format drops a refill insert into a reusable rack base, so you replace the insert rather than the whole rack assembly. It lowers per-tip cost and plastic waste for high-volume labs.
