Why Our Plugs Outperform Cellulose Acetate: Our recycled polyester plugs won't break or crumble like cellulose acetate, don't retain moisture in humid incubator environments, and leave no clinging fibers. The denser polyester structure provides better breathability and a stronger mite barrier — keeping Tyrophagus putrescentiae out of your stocks.

Sponge: Autoclavable closed-cell sponge (121°C / 15 psi for 15 minutes — avoid dry cycle). Can be sterilized and reused across multiple culture cycles. Firm fit with excellent gas exchange. Ideal for labs running sterile workflows or reusing closures to reduce waste.
